October Summary: Contributed $1,928.50 to New Horizon Primary School. New Project for November.

Monthly Donation Program Update: we have some good news, bad news, a sarcastic side note, and great news. Great news: In October, our customers donated $555.25 which we matched. Guests of The Phoenix donated $409, which The Phoenix matched. Together, we contributed $1,928.50 for fans and needed repairs at the New Horizon Primary School, which educates 500 kids on the island. Bad news: As you can see in the picture, the swings on the swingset that we donated to Central Park in April are broken. Side note: gosh, if only there were scores of people stationed at the park day and night who could help watch over the swingset and make sure people didn’t vandalize it. Sigh. Good news: For November, we’re raising money to buy new swings for the swingset. And any money left over will be used to buy toys for The Phoenix’s Annual Holiday Toy Drive for underprivileged kids in San Pedro. Thanks for eating at Blue Water Grill and enabling us to help our community.
